Earth Day Create Session!
🌎🌍🌏Happy Earth Day! 🌎🌍🌏
The wonderful collection of works for our Earth Day brief were all created exclusively for us by some seriously talented individuals!
Where would we be without our beautiful planet?! That’s why we need to celebrate, cherish and protect it!
Earth Day Brief:
Option 1: what does the earth mean to you? Do you have any specific memories, connotations, pieces of music, films etc that you associate with the earth? From this create something in response to it!
Option 2: we give you a word associated with Mother Nature and you can create something from that!
Each person has created something beautifully unique and in their own style! We love them all!

i didn’t want to take it too literally so i interpreted it more to do with personal growth and how i move through the world ! growth is always exciting but also so scary for me so the figure i have tufted had exclamation marks and questions marks on to portray this !!

For my Earth Day submission, I wanted to submit work I have been making around the theme of Mother Nature.
This project is called Me & Her, it explores our relationship to the earth and how it has the power to protect and shelter us. My work looks at the incredible healing properties the earth has on our bodies, both mentally and physically.

To me, the Earth represents a sense of serenity and stability. I've always found comfort in collecting and surrounding myself with small natural objects, such as stones or shells, and working with these materials is something I find myself returning to again and again.
