“My name is Harriet & I am a writer & performer from Essex. I write about identity, perception, mental health, sexuality, & myself. Mainly myself. 

Selective mutism is something I’ve always wanted to write about, but didn’t know how. It was something I experienced for around eight years of my life; it shaped my perception of myself & others. ‘Acting Lessons’ is a reflection on that time - specifically the way it relates to the experience of playing & performing that is so important in childhood.”
