Where would you like your work to take you?
All the steps i have taken in painting since i started have rooted in me an interest in making painting. Being interested in painting puts me in a place where i create a space for myself to carry on my practice.
Which part of your creative process do you enjoy most?
I have always had a strong imagination and through painting i have the opportunity to embody my imagination, contemplations and visual memories into something tangible. Producing paintings using my visual knowledge seems to me one of the interesting reasons which keeps me carrying on the practice.
Where do you draw inspiration from?
I take inspiration from films, literature and contemporary world. Nature has always been a great inspiration for me. I think, all sources of inspiration have an influence on my reflections and the access to my thoughts through painting is one of the interesting elements in this practice.
What piece of music would you say compliments your work the most?
Discovering an exact piece of music for a number of paintings is difficult if not impossible. There have been numerous musicians who their works i have admired for years and i think, they have had an influence on my work unconsciously.
Can you list a couple other creatives/friends/people you look to for inspiration?
There are so many painters who their works are very interesting but i don't think that i have inspired by them directly. This is a long term process. What i am exposed to, changes my imaginations gradually and this has an impact on the path i take in my practice.
