Welcome to Ostrich in the Dance, the sister series to Ostrich in the Lounge. In launching this more beat-driven and movement inducing counterweight, we welcome a selector whose raucous sets are scaffolded by a deep familiarity with fast-paced irregular rhythms. @rejuven8__ is an Exeter-based DJ well at home in the jungle.

In this retrospective mix, Rejuven8, A.K.A Jake Raftery reflects on his development as a selector. He explores and expresses deftly the influence of his ‘peers with their dub, electro and techno styles’, and gives us his own take on the 130/140bpm range. Flavours of the summer to come.
