Yoga with Mimi

My names Mimi, I’m 23 and I’m a yoga instructor and actress currently based in Bristol, but moving to London after I graduate from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School this year. I used to practise yoga on and off over the years, but it was always something I was drawn back to when I needed to ground myself. Yoga can seem intimidating, too challenging and ‘not your kind of thing’, but it’s actually a beautifully accessible way of getting in touch with your body and mind. Anyone can do yoga, and there is a way of practising yoga that would suit you. That’s what I try to show and incorporate into my teaching - yoga adapts to you and your day-to-day. I became a teacher in the summer of my first year at drama school, when I travelled to Rishikesh in India - the birthplace of yoga - and spent a month there completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. It was one of the most magical months of my life, and made me even more excited to introduce other people to the benefits and accessibility of yoga.
