Hi, my name is Laura and I am a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and a 2D Animator. I was born on the beautiful and tropical Madeira Island, Portugal, 25 years ago. Ultimately I want to keep creating with no boundaries, not only in my 3 preferred mediums, and always accepting the ongoing change and growth we are all subjected to. My goal in life is to keep on making things that have a positive impact in the world.

If you could collaborate with anyone who would it be?

I would love to collaborate with the music industry making video clips for musicians that I admire. People like Mos Def, Biig Piig, Frank Ocean, to name a few.

What would you like most for people to take away from your work?

When people encounter my work I hope they feel empathy. I hope they see themselves in one way or another in what I portrait, and that it causes them to reflect on a meaningful aspect of their life.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

Normally I draw inspiration from my day-to-day life. It's either something I am going through personally or some social issue happening to all of us.

Can you list a couple other creatives/friends/people you look to for inspiration?

Creatives that I admire are mostly from instagram, people like @bottlingsunshine, @evanmcohen, @Kurboi, @ramoon90. I also take inspiration from the people that I love in my life, people that have an impact everyday.
