Dobbel Duo
DuoDuo is a collaborative project by Humle Rosenkvist and Asta Tutavae Iversen,
who works to explore the thematic of sharing. In a time where we become more
and more individualised, the romanticising of the Idea of the twosome is very
present.
They like to explore the dynamic of the couple thru servings, and happenings where
food, objects and appearance will reflect on the questions they have: how to share?
What to share? When to share? What is a successful sharing?
They go to the work with both seriousness, and sceptic as much as they use humour
and play.
They underline the thematic by their choices of material, like food, ceramic and
textiles, which all talk into an idea of warmth, togetherness and community.
The project has been shown, in Norway, Sweden and England, it is partly sight specific, and transforms in the place it is shown, both as installation and performance.

Where would you like your work to take you?
We really want to continue exploring ways of sharing and wish to extend our ways of collaboration and material, also to open up for more elements around including audience and performance. We also aspire to show our work more outside the nordic countries.
Which part of your creative process do you enjoy most?
We love the generale collaborative progress of a new work!
But also to finish up the installation and see it all come together before the opening of an exhibition. The reactions and feedback from the audience are also just the best!
Where do you draw inspiration from?
Everywhere!
Instagram, books, news, people, nature, meetings & eachother, we throw small ideas at each other and communicate a lot around inspiration, then ideas slowly build from there.
What piece of music would you say compliments your work the most?
Hmm! We haven't thought of that before, but maybe some classical tunes or Norweigan synthpop like Jenny Hval, Susanne Sundfør and Canilla.
Can you list a couple other creatives/friends/people you look to for inspiration?
This is a few of the artist we find inspiring, both in their visual and artistic approach
